The Cateye Micro Wireless unit model ref:- CC-MC 100W

Hi to you all out there. Is it me or this this unit the most difficult and frustrating unit to ever have the unfortunate experience of owning?
I cannot make head nor tale of the Clock setting and furthermore it appears to just want to skip past it.
I have downloaded and printed off the Instruction/User Manual PDF.
I am beginning to wonder whether in the true fashion of "Foreign English" that they have written some parts of the manual in a code - known only to the originator of the PCB within the unit.

Is there an alternative and otherwise not generally known User Manual out there?

Your help would be very much appreciated and in due course faithfully applied.

I had one of these and the general set-up I managed but for some reason the clock was nightmare , if I remember correctly you need to set everything up again if you need to change the clock!?
Usually they have 2 buttons on the front and a hole maybe on the back you reset with a needle but this one may have an additional button on the back?1

I've got one of these and I agree it isn't the easiest to set up. Mind you, its easier to operate than it's replacement CC-MC200W. I'm close to binning that piece of s.....
I have a user manual that came with it but it's the same as the PDF version I'm afraid.

Well guys. I finally got the blasted thing to give me the correct time - what a pain in 'the sit-bones region!!!!!!!!!!!
I swear that it happened either by accident or just blind perseverance.
Who the hell is it that continually refuses to let the UK stay on one time/single zone and insists that we shuffle the clocks back and forth like a demented animal in total distress.

I actually also have the CC-RD300W model and that is also not a user friendly piece of kit - either.
There is a great deal to be said for the 'Good-Old Raleigh 16' cycle computer. It is easy to to set and use and does not eat the batteries.

Why can't the Cateye computers be as simplistic as there excellent lights are to operate and change the modes on?
