A few years ago, returning to cycling I managed to find a 1990's Roberts DOGS BOLX, it needed a new top tube, but it was the genuine article.

The convention, then and now was to go with the white / black colour scheme made popular by the MBUK articles, but I was having none of that.

I have ridden a lot of offroad miles on my DB, it is a superb all round mtb, it is also probably unique.

The Pace fork a bonus too.
I went onto the Chas Roberts website and it seems they are having a "Sabbatical "
I hope they are not calling it a day altogether :sad:

Glad you like the orange. Some of the retro boys are a bit sniffy, especially as the running gear is SRAM 2 X 10.

Chas has not done any of the frame work for a fair old while, although it would be nice to think he might produce the occasional frame in the future.
