Sorry to hear of you all who never got tickets.

My friend has tickets for rugby and hockey but she can't get a hotel booked for love nor money.

I'm sure the good people of Cyclechat Ecosse will be able to arrange something. I would suggest staying here, I'm sure the spare room could be made up.

It seems people of Dumbarton got priority as a guy I was at School with got several tickets including one for the closing ceremony. Sorry to rub it in and all

You lucky sod! Tickets for that during the 'Lympics were like Rocking Horse sh*te, and I guess it will be the same here!
That said, an old College Tutor of mine also has tickets for the Velodrome.

For the simple payment of helping me maintain my bikes, I'm sure you could come for the road race or similar!

I was too late to apply.
I thought cycling -road and downhill - wouldn't need a ticket though??

The Road race and one or two other things (like the Marathon) are not ticketed I don't think, but the mountain Biking was as I applied for it.
CC meet at my house, I can see this coming....

I didn't get anything for the Olympics, so I was due!
