I don't. In some circumstances an £80 bike is just as good as a £3500 bike. For instance a short commute on flat ground. Although I would think hub gears would be best for that. So a second hand with Sturmy Archers, £80. Another example is my use of Rolhoff equipped bikes. I am not American on cars, you do not need a big car because of longer trip distances.
