The damage a little carrier bag can do!

When I got a carrier bag caught in my Cannondale's rear mech I didn't have that problem. The mech hanger was sheared through but the fact that the mech had been carried round on the chain and gone through the seat stay saved me the bother of trying to get hold of a replacement hanger.

had the bag once, no damage but it melted itself into the cassette and was a bugger to get out

a lot of fishing line once too, that was even worse

and once a coke can I rode into deliberately (on a hybred) which promptly crumpled and jammed under the front mudguard, I won't be doing that again

Coke can,done that. Nearly fell off,don't do it,it's not smart and it's not clever.
