I will carry lots of water in the car. I know the year we did it in the sun, extra water is invaluable. Bring a few extra bottles if you like, I have quite a few, but if you have ones you like....like I imagine TT's are colour coded to his frame, and he'd rather change the bike than have a wrong colour bottle defacing it.

I hadn't thought of that add, I better bring a couple of spare frames too, in case I change outfits last minute :girl:

Seriously thanks for all your efforts so far bud. Being the idiot I am im really looking forward to it!!

So gutted not to be able to join you guys at the weekend and meet a few more of you in person and catch up with the legendary @Add (did I read Bill's not going?)

Especially as the weather looks so good :sun:

Hope all goes well and enough of you want to do it again for me to join you next time!

I'm off to Holland to watch my son play football, but of course I shall be taking the road bike and getting a cheeky ride or two in - possibly slightly less hilly than you guys though

Have fun - I look forward to reading about your adventures - and seeing some photos :highfive:

I have to say, and I dont say it by way of criticism, on my ride up Box Hill I was staggered by the finery and expense of the vast majority of the bikes AND their riders! Bike, kit, water bottles , helmets all perfectly coordinated. I was impressed by the effort people had made. I felt positively scruffy

Regents park's the same Bob, right bunch of tarts! ^_^

I'm a complete scruff away from the bike, but I am a little OCD when I'm near it...
