Now you're just being silly
Two years ago, after a party, I fell off my bike five times in the seven miles between Balham and Hammersmith.
I'm a bit hazy on the route I took, but at the time it seemed sensible to avoid traffic lights. When in motion, the gyroscopic effect seemed to keep me upright. Gravity seemed to take over whenever I stopped, with alarming consequences. The remorse when I woke up the next day was overwhelming.Top stuff, not least because were you sober you might have got the journey done in five miles.

Both probably. It's only fun if both are involvedAre you talking about the "no booze" or "no bike" bit?![]()
Done, see above!Would it make more sense to start at Reading station?
can we start North of the train tracks?
It'll feel like home then ....Dunno, but you'll probably finish on the wrong side of them.
Washing your hair?Unfortunately, I am busy that day.
Both probably. It's only fun if both are involved
One little altercation with a Brighton taxi and no one will let me forgetFor us innocent onlookers, I'd substitute the word "fun" for "aghast terror".
Don't ask how I know this....
