More wheels than sense
How many fifth Beatles have there been and how many are still alive?

A fifth of them ?

Easier to type than say.

My usual claim for fame is that I went to the same school as the latter, although he'd left before I started. I was tought be the same art teacher. Story has it that the art teacher found a work done by Stuart in an old cupboard and it was sold to raise funds for the school.

I think these two were the only ones outside the Fab Four that would have played on stage under the name of the Beatles.

Stuart Sutcliffe died as most will know. I remember them announcing it during morning assembly.

I thought George Martin was the only 'Fifth Beatle '.
Their music wouldn't have evolved or been as good as it was if it weren't for him.
Sure there were other members but there was only ever four in the band?

George Martin played on a lot of classic Beatles tracks.

I'm a bit young to remember that, but I recall the scene in Backbeat.
