You're two goals out. By all accounts a dreadful game, but Spurs won't care.

And what now for Man U? One billion pounds in debt, stadium falling to bits and no European money next season. They also have a lot of non performers on high wages they can't really afford and will have a job offloading them as no one else will match their salaries.

And their financial plight is all down to Ferguson falling out with Magnier and McManus over a racehorse, which led to them selling their majority shareholding to the Glazier family who have bled the club dry over two decades.

It was an awful game.

Man Utd are financially f*cked.

Two terrible teams. It sums up all that's wrong with football that the greatest reward of the night for Spurs is admission to the Champions League next season.

And yet the gossip column links them with every player on the planet!
How deep are Radcliffe's pockets (maybe not very as he could have definitely done with a haircut this evening!)

I didn't want either to win but I'm happier with this outcome!

Hoping for a proper Euro final on Saturday! Come on Arsenal ladies (definitely the underdogs but 🤞

My guess is that Man-U fans are going to be very, very disappointed.
Is there any sporting venture that he has had success with? They all seem to spiral downwards following his involvement.

Jim Ratcliffe looked lost when lining up for the losers first medal presentations. No doubt more concerned about the loss of Champions League revenues than not winning the Europa League trophy.

I'd take a chance on him, if he wants to buy currently up for sale Accrington Stanley! :okay:

He only invests in teams that were successful recently unfortunately. 😉
Edit - Does 10 years + count as recent in the case of football?

(Yes, I know they've won some trophies in the meantime but the fall from grace has been amusing to watch from afar).

I noticed his unkempt appearance when lining up for the medal handouts. Especially the red tie he wore, which never looks good at the best of times. Made even worse when worn a few inches above the waistline, like how he wore his. 🧐

Meanwhile I bothered watching the press conference afterwards, in the vague hope of some belated entertainment, and Postecoglou seems extraordinarily resigned to being given the sack. I can only imagine it's for not being Spursy enough.

Ratcliffe is a d!ck.

My prediction for this evening was terrible but I'm going with one nil, to the Arsenal.

Delighted for young Adam Wharton. A huge ta
The form of Spurs and Man U going into this final is absolutely terrible. 1 point from a possible 18.
The three teams below them have managed more than that. It’s very lucky that the teams promoted this year were so unprepared.

This is why I've reached the conclusion the PL is more than happy to see the ever widening gulf between the PL and the Championship.

Most PL clubs can start the season safe in the knowledge at least two of the three relegation spots will be filled by a promoted club.

Relegation for an established PL club is almost a thing of the past. Not so long ago Wolves, West Ham, United and Spurs would have gone into next weekend's fixtures fighting for their lives. The reality is last year's promoted clubs have been so dreadful that was never a danger.

The PL is rapidly becoming a closed competition with the promoted clubs being cannon fodder.
