Is 16,000 a normal gate at Ewood Park? Seems low for a Championship match

Nearly 10,000 more than that down the road at the Toughsheet for BWFC v Wigan (a League One game).

Correct ... but I'm not sure what your point is.

Over 25,500 at today's game at the Toughsheet - and at the previous home game (6th Sept against AFC Wimbledon), the crowd was just over 20,000.

I think those are really good figures for League One games. I'm surprised at how low the crowd was at Ewood today hence my question to @PaulSB

Pompey lost at home to Sheffield Wednesday…hopefully there will be plenty of better days. Without Schmid and now Shaughnessy for weeks....But at least the neighbours lost as well. There only have to be three worse teams in the division for us to stay up, and if they play at St Mary's even better!
