I'll also see that as an Arsenal fan I've seen some stuff that I genuinely don't know how to explain. A clearly deliberate off the ball forearm to the back of the head the ref completely missed that wasn't raised by VAR, apparently because "it wasn't an elbow" (this was the explanation given later I believe), Haaland throwing the ball hard into the back of Gabriel's head after he scored (how did they miss that?), Lewis Skelly having VAR overrule the ref to get a straight red rather than a yellow for a cynical trip (VAR said it was a dangerous tackle, it wasn't - the card was later rescinded). I'm sure others have had dodgy rulings for their clubs as well, but for a long time last season and the season before it really did seem like someone at PGMOL hated us (I'm still not convinced they don't tbh)
Every supporter will say there club has been hard done by by the officials.I bet Arsenal being one of the top "six" has had the rub of the green plenty of times.;)

This is why I am utterly baffled by it. Usually with a lot of Manager sackings you might think it is too early (and often it probably is!) but there will be some justification i.e. too many bad results or poor performances, lost the fans/players etc. With Dyche, not only is he exactly the type of Manager they needed, but he was also delivering results and they were playing some decent football (and from what I can tell the fans were all happy with him). There isn't a single logical or justifiable reason to have sacked him, it is crazy.

I suspect (as if it wasn't obvious) Marinakis is the problem, he's either hot headed, impatient, very nervous of relegation, doesn't take kindly to failure, so used to getting what he wants...or all of them.
It'll end in disaster if he's not a bit more circumspect.
I didnt particually like Dyches appointment, said so at the time, then softened as he got early results, but somethings gone very wrong, players just aren't performing as they were.
Marinakis will be desperate for that new manager bounce... perhaps that's all he is gambling on. Heck of a gamble

Why hide your lips if you are not being racist?

Have been hearing that Marinakis was consulting players on Dyche and they threw him under the bus. No idea why he was consulting them, unless as you say, he felt something was wrong in the dressing room. I think he is definitely gambling on the new Manager bounce, he saw Pereira's first few months at Wolves and is hoping for the same. If they stay up I expect Pereira will quickly be jettisoned and someone new bought in.

Stumbling badly over the line it seems! 'It'll be damage limitation for Wolves' I heard someone say on the radio today. My thoughts on hearing that were Arsenal will do well to win 1-0 as when the top club plays the bottom club in any league/division, rarely does it end in a whitewash. With many such games ending in a 1-0 win for the top club, or a draw, as it was tonight.

Whatever happened to the financial rules breaches?
Swept under the carpet cos….just cos?

Pretty much. They're basically playing a game of "Who's lawyers are better?" right now and I suspect the Premier League's will probably back down but things will be dressed up to make it look like City have been severely punished.

I reckon when the dust settles they'll end up with a ten point deduction and a fine which will sound hefty but isn't really.

It's the classic "we've done nothing wrong" yet we will spend tens of millions on the best lawyers to block and obfuscate every little thing we can find. But, "we've still done nothing wrong"!

Agueroooooooooooo! 😂

I was working with a QPR fan at the time. She was really happy that Man Utd hadn't won the league. I pointed out that QPR were 2-0 up and had a chance to decide the title race and they gave up, which didn't bode well for the following season (they had survived by 1point that year). She scoffed that it made no difference. They were relegated by March the following season 😂

Give it a rest mate, that's the lowest level "banter" available to mankind, you can get it everywhere on social media, I like to think we're better than that here. I hardly ever post much about Arsenal on here, because it's much more interesting to hear about Blackburn, or Clitheroe or basically anything that isn't Premier League - which is everywhere, all the time. This was a nice refuge from the "banter" that infects every other football discussion in the universe nowadays
