I remember it, I was thirteen at the time and as a West Ham fan if was doubly satisfying. Interestingly, only tonight I finished Geoff Hurst's book, "Last boy of '66" which I got from the library. A very good read.

Does anyone here remember England winning it? Before my time. I reckon Italians, who've won it three times, might feel winning it was pretty good

Anyone under state pension age is unlikely to remember it.
