I remember it, I was thirteen at the time and as a West Ham fan if was doubly satisfying. Interestingly, only tonight I finished Geoff Hurst's book, "Last boy of '66" which I got from the library. A very good read.

Watch it all if you have the time, but especially on 12 minutes 15 seconds! That Rovers fan is Clive Wallwork from Accrington. He recently retired, closing his barber shop in town after must've been 40 years. I went in for a haircut about 15 years ago. I had to mention his Panorama appearance all those years ago. He told me it's been mentioned to him hundreds of times over the years. I was on the same Rovers away travel club coach as him that day.😉

That card was my second membership card, with the first one in use for that Millwall game. I'd had that scarf, worn in my photo for 4 days, then it was ripped off my neck in Stanley Park Liverpool on the way to watch Rovers played Liverpool on a Wednesday night FA Cup tie.😠
