well the subtle thing is, "spying" wasn't a specific offence then, so Leeds got done under lack of "good faith" towards opponents rule.
That prompted rule 127 coming in specifically prohibiting observing training session within 72 hours of a game (but doesn't specify a punishment) so the pundits are saying that is worse than Leeds so demands a bigger punishment...

Ah, I hadn't realised the rule had come in after that.

So will the Scottish Premiership come down to a winner takes all decider between Celtic and Hearts in the final game?

Hopefully Hearts will scud Falkirk and Motherwell win at Fir Park, meaning it won't.

Neither of these results are beyond the realms of possibility: Hearts are unbeaten against them in the league, and Motherwell schooled Celtic when they visited in December, albeit they had Nancy as manager then...

The only folk who don't want Hearts to win (outside the Old Firm) are Hibees and a few Killie fans who still can't get over the way McInnes left us.

I know, It was more that I don't think you actually play for them.

Anyway more excitingly, Its Boro's time to finally disappointment me for this season. After creating so many chance to win the first leg about 4-0 on saturday, we go to Soton (boo hiss cheating spying bastards) all square where I thoroughly expect us to get turned over and be left hoping for a decent sanction when the the spygate case gets held.

Unlucky with the loss to the cheats. Did you make the starting 11 or were you on the bench?

Dodgy, bordering on corrupt! I listened to this match on the radio. The must've taken a bung excuse for a referee was gagging to give Celtic a penalty. As soon as they scored it he blew his whistle for full time!🤨 I'd be worried if I was a Hearts player or fan this coming Saturday, as no doubt whichever referee officiate the game, he's bound to be Celtic's 12th man!🤨👎

Are you new at how refereeing works in Scotland? The levels to which the Old Firm are favoured is beyond embarrassment.

According to the BBC report, he gave the penalty when the ball hit a Motherwell player's arm when in a un-natural position. So it wasn't for like cropping a Celtic player from behind. No, it was a technicality that didn't have to result in a dodgy penalty!😒

The ref tonight isn't known as "Cheating Beaton" for nothing.

And there was me, thinking only I was rattled about the 'keep playing till Celtic score' corruption last night!😏

They can't even let Hearts win the title, regarding their potential first title win for 66 long years! That lot have to win it every year! Surely even dimwhit Celtic wallers wouldn't begrudge Hearts their first title win since 1960! Winning the same thing year in year out must become tedious, especially when it seems most of their titles have been achieved by the SFA, as much as the club itself!😒

Have you actually seen the incident? It's a clear penalty. The Hearts player would be fully aware of the consequences of his fist being beside or in front of his head when going for a header. A nailed on penalty. Whether the officials would have seen it without VAR is another matter but that aside it was a clear penalty.

Celtic penalty

.......and I would love to see Hearts win the league but I fear they won't now................
