Every cloud has a silver lining Joe. I predict that West Ham will win the Championship next season, under the guidance of Scott Parker who has a good record of getting teams up to the Premiership.

If you think the system in the English Championship is bad, you'll have conniptions over what we do in Scotland...

4th plays 3rd for the right to play 2nd who then earns the right to play 11th from the top flight. It's drawn out and favours the top flight side, because the Championship sides are knackered, and in some cases only semi professional.

In the 13 years since it's been a thing, I think the Championship sides have only prevailed a couple of times, once against Killie, which was vaguely embarrassing.

I quite agree; I’m a long time fan of Partick Thistle, and we have the final game tonight away to St Mirren. It’s currently one all from the first game, but I fear we will lose tonight.
At least the other two teams I support, Tottenham and Aberdeen, both rather narrowly avoided relegation. It’s been a stressful season!

I'd rather see Partick get promoted, if only for the novelty of Firhill, and the nightmare inducing Kingsley you had a few seasons ago.

Historic day for the oldest football league club as Notts get promoted through the playoffs instead of despite the playoffs.
Turns out all the playoffs were won by the lower placed side of the two in the final.
