I'm intrigued/dreading to see just how ruthless the FA/Prem/whoever might be with Man City. They could justify going for the throat; expelling them.
They could but, my word, the ramifications. Man City could well benefit from it being such a sustained and flagrant crime that justice becomes almost impossible to serve without damaging others and generally creating a storm of faeces.
Moral perhaps: some crimes are so big that you can get away with them.

Oh, I meant broader implications; local business etc. Plus threats to withdraw investment and funding from the area. Not the FA's concern certainly but not something they'll (be asked to) ignore.
Seems to be an obsession with the Big 6 that they are untouchable and anything done will hurt the rest etc. Man City where in the third tier in the late 90s. No one has a right to be in the Premiership and it was only a few seasons back that one of the old First Division clubs who agreed to its formation Luton Town, played in it. Another, Notts County never has.
