Well done, your only three points off the play offs.
Quite enjoying life in the championship at the moment probably because we're winning a lot more than we were in the premiership  but also the league is very competitive and there is no dreaded VAR.

I was at the Swansea match yesterday, first time I've seen West Ham live since 1988. Working Saturdays and evenings when I live up there got me out of the habit and then moving here 25 years ago kyboshed it. A very competent and controlled performance, they shut Swansea out for most of the game and could have had a couple of more goals. The amount of work Bowen gets through is very impressive, he was active all over the pitch.

It was my first time in an all seater stadium and I was very impressed, the seats were comfortable and there was plenty of legroom. Last time I went to Upton Park the game was on the back end of the pre Italia '90 slump and the ground was in a sorry state. I think yesterday was the first football ground I ever attended where the toilets didn't stink.

As a postscript to our three man trip to Swansea, after the game we had something to eat before the return journey on the 7:45 train to Fishguard. On arriving at the station we discovered the train had been cancelled due to a fallen tree on the line, so hung round with about 100 other passengers waiting for the promised coaches which never turned up. Nine fifteen they announced the line had re-opened but the only train was going to Milford Haven which would have meant getting someone to pick us up from Haverfordwest, the nearest station on route. When we had a moan Transport for Wales, bless their hearts, got us a taxi which cost them a cool 180 quid! Not bad value for a fifteen quid ticket, half of which we can now claim back
