Here for rides.
Thanks all for the brilliant updates here and on BookFace. Utterly jealous in every dimension.
And @Flying Dodo and me!
I ended up leaving, going round the Morrisons roundabout & then back in again. Going that way it's properly signposted. And of course, I passed the right road on the way out....Oh yes, Harwich port to Harwich International rail station. The signposts were excellent. TC and I (and a few other cyclists) had absolutely no problems getting to the station. Not at all
Isn't it just turning left at the first roundabout on the way out of the port or have they farked that up for cycling too, like the high kerb you plummet off if you're daft enough to follow the cycle route from Harwich proper to the port instead of the direct and fairly quiet Station Road?Oh yes, Harwich port to Harwich International rail station. Where's the cable loop?He is now in proud posession of a genuine Axa brand dutch café lock, a bit like this one:

That was the expensive version. We got the cheap one.Where's the cable loop?
Head for the Fat Cat (Norwich) or sit outside the Rathskeller (Lynn) or Marriott's Warehouse or the Bank House if you're feeling rich or even the Globe if you're feeling cheap and it's close enoughSitting in the local pub with a beer just isn't the same as being in Belgium drinking Belgian beer
Trouble is we have to taxi it or driveHead for the Fat Cat (Norwich) or sit outside the Rathskeller (Lynn) or Marriott's Warehouse or the Bank House if you're feeling rich or even the Globe if you're feeling cheap and it's close enough
Norwich is 15 miles and Lynn is 35.Trouble is we have to taxi it or drive
Expensive or no drinking
Sorry - I thought you had cyclesTrouble is we have to taxi it or drive

15 miles back from Norwich piddled would probably be terminal.Sorry - I thought you had cycles
Highly unlikely, but consider stopping drinking before piddled! Anyway, navigation out of the city is usually the first thing to fail (DAMHIK ), as the river valley routes which are best for cycling (Ringland Lane and Bowthorpe New Road) aren't the most obvious exits.15 miles back from Norwich piddled would probably be terminal.
