It was such fun that it seems a shame to stop at Bordeaux. How nice it would be to finish the job and go all the way to the Med.
Just sayin', like........
You make that sound like a booby prize. Surely some mistake. There's always one know-all isn't there. I should have said that the winner gets to ride at the back with me all day every day and listen to me moaning on about the hills.
And after some discussion with Andrew, a pair of Schwalbe Marathon Supreme are on order. If they let me down a grudge will be borne.
for a very good reason!Immensely proud of this. (Can hardly keep my eyes open, btw)![]()
Congratulations Martin, you made it all work and in some style. I hope that I speak for all of us when I say thank you, well done.
just bought my train tickets for the Mancunian Night ride (which, unlike the first Southwold ride a week later, has not yet been advertised on CC)We're missing you all.
Oh yes it has...just bought my train tickets for the Mancunian Night ride (which, unlike the first Southwold ride a week later, has not yet been advertised on CC)
A special thank you to @Andrew Br from me, for spotting that I was struggling a bit and coming back to give me a wheel to follow, not once but three times. Much appreciated.
As Wiggo says, cycling is about teamwork. And when I spoke about everyone in The Fridays being different, I wasn't referring only to our favourite German Jewish American Gay Woman.the memory of the love and support I got from a little special TMN peloton that surrounded me and towed me along giving me food and encouragement will stay with me for ever
Yebbut Bordeaux to Avignon via the coast is a similar distance.Bordeaux to Marseille seems to be about as far as Caen to Bordeaux....
