Why should they? They've paid good money to jump the queue.
When we flew to Majorca we paid extra to 'fast track' through boarding. No standing in the line for over an hour, we were straight through within minutes.
What kind of planes are these budget (??) airlines using on flights to Majorca these days?
Have they been splashing out on the Airbus 380?
An hour in the queue for boarding a bog standard 737 or Airbus 320 sounds a bit excessive!
I prefer to sit in the departure area until the end of the queue has disappeared onto the plane, and then wander on at my leisure. Pay for allocated seating by all means if not travelling alone, but speedy boarding I have never seen the point in. The plane still has to wait for us plebs!

So you sat on the plane waiting for everyone else? Didn't actually get you there faster, did it?

That just makes me think a fool and their money are easily parted...

This also made me wonder when seeing people who have paid extra to board first, rushing to get on the plane. Very strange behaviour.
Stuff sitting on a stuffy plane for any more time then is necessary.
On any flight I am usually one of the last getting on. No standing in line, just taking it easy in the chairs watching all the rushing and fuss. When the queue has died down casually wander on.

No it meant we checked in first and had plenty of time to sit in one of the restaurants eating a cooked breakfast rather than standing in a queue shuffling forward a couple of feet every few minutes. If that makes me a fool then it was the most foolish tenner I've spent.

It's just taken me 38 minutes and 14 seconds to get through to EON to set up a new account grrrrrrrr......and I'm guessing it's all because of Archie and swee'pea
I've just left them due to their appalling customer service. I've moved to Ovo recommended by which and a bit more ethical.

Thats different to your other post, which says you paid extra to fast track through boarding.

I'm not sure quite why but I don't have a great problem with paying extra in advance to get "better" treatment. I suppose we all do that in some way or another. What seems totally cynical is for an organisation to deliberately make their customer service so ghastly that people feel the need to pay extra for things that should be expected as normal and polite.

And don't get me on that "held in a queue" telephone sh1t!

I have no problem with people paying fir a first class plane ticket, as it doesnt impact on the people in economy.
My issue is that every time someone pays 50p to skip the queue it bumps the other people down the queue, so it does impact them. Theoretically if everyone else paid 50p and you didnt, you may never get to the front of the queue.
