So out for my daily permitted exercise walk yesterday , Mrs gas noted the lack of McDonald's litter that was normally around, great news, until we noticed the amount of discarded rubber gloves and dog bags now taking its place! Anyone else noticed any difference?

Definitely noticing how clean the streets and pavements are. Barely any litter. I have seen several complaints re dog mess though.

Why do people take the trouble to bag there dog mess and then just sling it back on the floor? Madness!

For us, the biggest difference is a the lack of traffic noise as we live adjacent to a busy road, so it’s really been nice to be able to really enjoy the garden in the better weather.

I'd suggest the dog mess is down to the amount of dogs that suddenly have discovered a walk.

Ha yes,much quieter with no noisy motorbikes on our local by-pass. Unfortunately taken over by my neighbour who's set up a shooting arcade in his garage and spends hours a day with his pistol shooting at tin cans! I'm sure if it carries on he'll be having it surgically removed from somewhere.... I'm getting more like Victor Meldrew by the day 😂

Supermarkets are pretty bad for gloves , people dump them in the trollies after they have been shopping

The roads being quieter are great. I have been known to poo pick our front verge as someone with a very large dog just leaves the poo there. Annoying but I clean it up as, having 2 hounds, I don’t want the blame. You know how folks are.
