I loved those rubber keys, although it went through a fair few membranes in the 5 or so years i used it for.

It's a puncture repair kit......
It was used to repair paper tape. You cut the tape, applied a sticky patch over the torn bit and repunched holes in the patch tape to replace the damaged section. Then you re-spooled the tape and fed it into the reader.... and waited for the next breakage![]()
