New series starting on Channel 5 tonight at 8 o'clock. Thought I'd give it a mention as there are a few on here with an interest in the subject.

It could be good, but a lot of these modelling programs are dumbed down so much they are disappointing.

The best ones were on a Men & Motors in the early naughties when they had a show called Model Club, which dealt with all aspects of modelling.

Agreed, nice to see Tim being a little more adult than his usual spoilt teenage act, would have been nice to see a little more of how it was done, but it reminded me of scrapheap challenge, maybe the same production company.

Just started watching it and my daughter asked if she could watch the Simpsons. I said "there is a programme on about model railways you might be interested in". Apparently not. I will come back to it looked promising.

It's not too bad, but like all of these things, I'd like to see more of how they actually do something rather than the silly talking that goes on.
