I rekon the bloke on the left (chav like shoes, no safety gear, don't like the look of that fellow, lets stear clear of him to stop him intentionally waving in front of us and damaging the beamer with his chav-fu) would be given more road space than the bloke on the right (ooh, shiny things, he's responsible, we can cut HIM up safely).

Of the two, the correct one is the one who takes the most prominent road position while cycling away from that kerb.

I always try to look in a forwardsly direction when cycling - that helps

And cycle more than 1.5mm from the curb

I agree - it's all about road positioning. In fairness though, both cyclists look to be stopped at the kerb and looking back ready to pull off.

You must have amber pedal reflectors? Doesn't that incriminate practically every cyclist on here?

Depends whether you bike was manufactured before 1985

By wearing a helmet he is in fact hiding his very reflective forehead, thus increasing the risk of hitting a low bridge. Tsk, tsk.

I knew I should be grateful for male pattern baldness...

I remember reading a Post (can't remember who by) about wearing those arm warmers which make your arms looks as though they are covered in tatoos from shoulder to wrist. He wrote that nobody messed with him on his ride at all.

Yeah, I got some of those, I posted about a BMW driver who was so scared of me he drove off through a red light.
