I've been watching this for the last few weeks, recording it if we've been out, and I can highly recommend it. Even my wife who normally doesn't watch such things is completely hooked. Fantastic drama, fabulous, quality production. Full marks all round. I think we're up to episode 12 now, a few more to go. If you've missed it, then do your best to find it somewhere, it's better than Wallander (whatever the flavour!).

Agree with all of the above.

Who do you think did it?

First off I thought it might be the guy who works with Theis (spelling?) Never thought it was the teacher. Or the kids.

Everything is suggesting it's a man. But I am wondering about the dark haired female assistant who is getting it on with Harttman.

Only another 8 episodes to go.

I have my suspicions about Theis. He seems to show very little emotion. This is IMO because he is so used to suppressing emotion. What has he done in the past?

Also one of the early episodes showed him having a discussion with the landlord of the removal "warehouse" (under the Bik Larson's flat). Is there a connection there with Kamel?

Why is Lund so freely discussing the case with her boyfriend Benkt, who works in Sweden as a Forensic Pyschologist?

Colly - the guy who works with Thies is called Vagn I think.

I just watched episode 11 and there was another suspect - pretty solid this time (no, I won't spoil it for you) so it's going to be interesting to see how things work out.

But yes - fantastic series. I like seeing things worked out in a realistic time frame instead of squashed into 1 hour or 2, if we're lucky.

According to the Radio Times episode 9 (of 20) is on Wednesday night and "There's still time to come on board this splendid Danish crime drama, even though we're halfway through the series; there's a clever, neatly inserted recap of "the story so far" that will bring strangers up to speed."

Anyone watched it and not thought much of it? There's nothing that grips me on the TV at the moment so with all these glowing recommendations I'll set this to record and give it a watch.

How weird that the iplayer is way ahead of the telly - although I did get ahead of myself, it was episode 10 that I watched last night.

Now I have to wait until next weekend for some more

It's not running ahead there's just a couple of repeats shown during the week. It's episodes 11 & 12 that are new on Saturday night, I'll just get a chance to see episodes 9 & 10 as they are being repeated midweek.

Yes, it's a great series, you really have to concentrate on the subtitles otherwise you can miss something, worth recording it so you can rewind to check anything you miss.
Its only up to episode 10 so far, which was shown on saturday night and will be repeated on wednesday night.
There's a new suspect just about every episode, I reckon Troels' assistant Rie is involved somewhere.
