I had a Beetle- but the van never captured my eye- they are so slow, cramped and prone to rust... in fact, just like a Beetle.

I used to love them till Jamie "pucker geezer" Oliver ruined the image for me . Bloke at work has 2 in various stages of repair i often look at them and dream

Nearest I got to one was owning a VW Caravelle. I love VWs. Got a VW Caddy - bright red.

Hope to get a '73 1303 Beetle in a couple of years - red, of course.

I was talking to some people the other week in Pembrokeshire who had a Danbury conversion. It was beautiful but they said it set them back nearly 40 grand
