Possibly, ... but ...

That was chosen specifically over the 0.9 engine for both reliability and lower insurance.

And consumption in real world use.

Looks like my cheeky bid on a small little Italian car was enough. Hopefully it'll be OK as a little run-a-about.

Hint: it's had it's badges removed for a different brand as they weren't sold in the UK and the different brand was.

Second hint: low insurance, red and black. Not a convertible.

Easy: Vauxhall Monaro?

Not a chance. They're insurance group 45-48 out of 50. It needs to be insurance group 6 or less due to SWMBO's too-close relationship with the person who sends out yellow speed camera letters. They keep writing to her

Italian. Small. Low insurance, red and black. Further hints can follow.

Or badged under an american Stellantis group car name ?

Virtual cake to @fossyant - it's a Red & Black model Chrysler Ypsilon (stupid name!) with the basic 1.2 petrol engine. We need something that can be used as a basic run-a-bout with low insurance for up to the next year whilst other stuff gets sorted out.

My Honda CR-V's too big for my university's car park and SWMBO needs to be insured on a second car in case of emergencies. She's already got a 2018 1.2 Panda as her main car so it's familiar for her. And slow.

If you search eBay you'll find it wasn't much. And I get Quidco cashback plus credit card cashback getting £10-15 back.
