Possibly, but I guess you've never tried to do one up?

When you've only got one good arm the trick is to do it up first and then wriggle into it, like a contortionist... then let gravity do the rest (more the case when you're over 35) ;)

Now I had forgotten about putting on bra's.

No the trick is to get someone else to do it for you... which was fine when I either got Mr Summerdays or eldest daughter to do it... but one day I was running late they both when to work/school which left me with an 8 year old to try and teach him how to do up a bra!!!

The other problem was choosing clothes as I couldn't get my arm into or out of anything with sleeves - so all the summer tops had to come back out. And I discovered that tracksuit bottoms do actually have a use.

I think, in that situation, unless I knew I had to do anything too 'bouncy' like running, I'd just go without for the day

<waits for server meltdown>

***up-date***

Just got back from the hospital, where I had my 2 week check up.

The cast is off ;) but the doctor said I shouldn't ride for another 3-4 weeks :smile:

My elbows not doing too badly. Won't fully straighten yet (which should improve with some stretches) but no pain anymore.

My hand is still bruised and stiff, so I'm trying to get my 3 good fingers moving freely again, little one is still painful.

Booked in for physio in 4 weeks, but they didn't tell me what to do until then so I'll start with just getting everything moving gently and then probably get some sort of squeezing ball.

But at least I can use most of my hand again, and take a proper shower without having to wear a plastic bag on my arm (hand is a little whiffy ;) ).

I'm now thinking of getting a cheap turbo trainer so I can start excerising again, now I can wash properly.

Great news Luke, you'll be back on the bike properly in no time at all, hopefully for the last FNRttC and CofG's ride the next day...

The turbo will help, ask on here for the loan of one if it's only for the short term. I had one but sold it on, they don't do it for me.
