Im going to the show on Friday and im looking forward to it, but can you buy anything there or is it just showing you whats coming out etc.
Ive been to the Ideal Home Exihibition and you can buy anything and everything for your house and i was wondering if its the same.

A lot of it is just to see what's coming up- haven't been for a couple of years-there was a small area where you can buy clothes.

It might have changed but I found it a bit disappointing.

Indeed, last one I went to at Earls Court a couple of years back was the same.
Was ok if you just like looking at bike porn.
The selling area was very small.

But

May have changed.

Typical, i was gearing myself up for a spending spree, so im guessing that its only an in and out trip then.

I got the ticket for free through my work at the time but I really thought it was a bit of a piss take to charge people to go in and look at stuff they couldn't buy and have this piddling little section of clothing.

There were bits where you could have a go on rollers, a indoor MTB section etc but I love all things bike related but my experience of the last one means that I don't see the point in going.

So i can see my day going like this them.
Show 2hrs,Rapha store 30 mins, various bike stores around holborn etc 2 hrs home for dinner.

I was going to go but SWMBO found out that the Shard building is opening it's doors in February and seeing as it is our 37th anniversary in February, guess where we are going instead of me going to the cycle show.

because of work commitments i can only make it to the show for two hours max on 17th or 18th , anybody got a spare ticket for either day, i am reluctant to pay entrance fee for such a short time.

lots of bike porn....

but Madison had some fantastic prices on clothing. i grabbed a Madison Tempest Mtec 5000 Jacket and a Madison Trail softshell jacket both for £40.00
British Cycling were handing out goody bags... as were a few others. Muc-off's goody bag had a 100ml bottle of bike cleaner
