Much better just to have a polite word if you feel the need. I saw a bloke, at night all in black and he was really hard to see. I slowed down and just said how hard he was to see. He joked that he'd lost his back light (he did have a front one) and took it well. Hopefully he did buy a new one, but either way I didn't come across like an idiot.

OldTimer, where abouts in Norfolk have you seen him?

In the lanes leading from Matlask to Holt mainly. Narrow unclassified lanes between the villages. Although unclassified they can get busy during peak times as they are a cut through.

ah, a little bit away from me :laugh: I've possibly been down the lanes, but not sure...been to Sherringham so might have passed down :biggrin:

There was a post on here about some stats about cyclists who were killed/injured due to not having lights...it was a very, very, very low proportion. I'm not saying that makes it any better if you're the one killed due to not having lights.
