A fantastic web site for rail travel planning.

I stumbled across the web site via Google when looking for train services to get me and a bike back to the UK from Vienna or Passau.

Now I know how to get me and my bike back from just about any European country by train. I've wasted a lot of time on unfocussed browsing on the web site but is has opened the doors to me being able to complete the Eurovelo Six route over the next few years and have rail adventures at the start and end of each of the sections that I will be riding.

Fair to share Vernon...

choo-choo!

I have lightly perused, as it will possibly form the mainstay to enable my arrival in Sweden, to roll around for the Vatternrunden. Wherever it is and whenever

It is a great website for planning international train travel.

As an aside in case anyone doesn't know, apparently seat 61 in First class of a Eurostar is the best seat as you don't have a window pillar thereby offering a uninterrupted view of the scenic entrance to Lille!!!

Fancy that! You can buy European train tickets in little old March!

"Cambridge railway station also has a TrainsEurope desk, open 11:00-17:00 Tuesday-Friday, and their main office is at March railway station, Cambridgeshire, open 09:00-17:30 Monday to Friday, closed Saturdays & Sundays."

My Godmother come from Norfolk, and was once on a train, in the dark, which had very dirty windows. The smart businessman, obviously not local, sitting opposite had been dozing and came to at a station, and couldn't see the sign board, so asked where they were. When she said "March", he thought she was deaf or dimwitted, especially as it was December...
