Hiya Big Bob!
Where abouts are you?
Where abouts are you?
Did you take the train? Was up there last year in glorious weather, sweltering hot it was. Stayed an Pen-Y-Gwryd Hotel (home of British Mountaineering, apparently), went up Miners & down the PYG, great fun, and finished the 3 Peaks this year with Ben Nevis. Thanks again for such a cracking welcome, yer a guid bunch.
The Mhor in my case is I'm a big lump.... but working on it.
I was down in Snowdonia (hiking and other nerdy stuff) mid Sept and the only Welsh word that applied was 'hen' as I reached bus pass age (Scotland) the day before we left..
The worst part ?
I was on top of Snowdon as the peleton raced over and down into Llanberis in the Tour...
Mhor
Welcome from someone else with a profic pic taken on top of a hill
Where was your pic taken? (Mine is on one of the Five Sisters of Kintail.)
Is this still there?Scafell Pike, nothing exotic.
A mid Sept day when all four seasons hit us, note the wet (left hand leg) shorts as horizontal sleet was battering us before it all turned still and sunny.
Cheers, Blue
Thank you all for your warm welcome..
Sofa so good, Kate ?
FYI, Mhor translates from the Gaelic as 'Big'
