Here in North Wales there has been a succession of cloudy grey days, so it barely seems to get light. I don't think I could cope with a Finnish winter.
I'm a regular visitor there, although I've never been during Kaamos (the no-sunrise-at-all period).
You are repaid for the short period of daylight with the most beautiful lighting and looooong dawn and twilight. And aurorae at night. But that's from a tourist's point of view. Living there might be a bit different.

Oh, and it's a bit colder than N Wales.
