I'm unsure of the long-term (or even short -term) durability of an aluminum framed single maintube bike.

There are Brommie clones now with aly frames, both 16" and 20" variants. I won't be rushing to buy one any time soon, or even later.

I wasn't familiar with Birdy bikes at all and a simple search to find the model took me down a 15 minute internet rabbithole!
Oh yes, GPT suggests it's an aftermarket Rohloff conversion.

Fair do's. I know nothing about these bikes, but it's AI, so it must be right innit!

Not a bad price in the grand scheme, although theres a very tiny market for expensive small wheeler thet aren't Brompton so I reckon itll linger like a cabinet ministers regrettable tweet from 2013.

That’s a great bit of folding bike porn and would scratch two of my bike itches. A folding bike and a a Rohloff hub.
But as I am not riding the bikes I do own already , unfortunately there is no way I could spend that much on something else I don’t ride . 😂😀
