ahem. I have a new Ben Sherman shirt. I'm reliably informed that they are a Converse Generation thing. Along with Paul Smith.
You can still get the brogues, braces and Levis so you just need the haircut...

Wavelength instead of frequency . radio 1 was 275 /285 metres not 1053 Khz and 1089Khz ( 1107Khz on Merseyside !!)

Blimey - I remember Radio 1 on 247 metres. Radio Luxembourg was The Great 208. Or 1440 KHz in Euros.

Other things nostalgic:

Subbuteo rugby

Swap Shop

Tiswas (which was much better than Swap Shop)

Cresta pop that came in colours that don't exist in nature. It's frothy, man.

Spot on. In the depths of the south Wales valleys, there were few UHF transmitters so we had Rediffusion cable TV; rented, of course. The box on the wall had the usual three channels, plus Radio 2 and Radio Wales, and S4C when it arrived in 1982.

When multi-channel telly arrived in the mid 1980s, we were also treated to such gems as Screensport, Music Box - which consisted of four, 1-hour shows repated four times a day - and Sky Channel - which was Dutch (I think) and not to be confused with today's Sky TV channels.

Did anyone here ever have a squareial?

One of my first introductions to drinking.
Coming downstairs one morning after a family party and finding a near empty can.
Thought I might as well have a good old gulp.....

A - Radio 2
B - BBC 1
C - ITV
D - BBC2
E - Radio Wales
I think S4C was on G.
My cousins lived in Blackwood and had one of those hidden behind the curtains in the living room. The youngest child was always given the task of turning the channels over.

My mistake on Sky Channel - it was British (launched in 1982) and it did morph eventually into Sky1. There was a lot of Dutch content, though, mainly the music programmes.

While I'm still talking telly:
