Vettel & Red Bull to win.
They were the most consitant team last year. Vettel was just unlucky that they didn't quite have the edge for the last couple of races.
They should be miles in front of everyone this year, but both races seem to have been hit by problems which they also had in the respective practice sessions.

I think Red Bull were pretty good last year but Vettel wasn't hungry enough, that and technical problems. I think about 3 races from the end of the season he realised this. These things come with F1 experience though.

I'm sure if Button does well with Mclaren this season we'l see Hamilton throw his toys out of his pram more often

+2, at least it'll be interesting. Good race today. I was worried that Hamilton's traffic offences were going to be the highlight of the weekend...

Spoiled perhaps but Hamilton wasnt to blame for the shambles today, he put his car within 2nd place and the team made a massively bad call to bring him in, then just as he catches and looks like he will take Alonso, Webber has another red mist moment and drives him off the track. For his drive today Hamilton deserved better much as Vettel did.

Button was superb today to and this season is going to be very interesting if different cars keep winning. Red Bull, McLaren and Ferrari all have fast cars, once we get to Europe it will be very much game on!

I thought it was funny how at one point Hamilton kept saying over the radio "my tyres have gone off!" Er, your team mate's done two thirds of the race on one set of tyres and he's managing ok ...

This is true. I'm not a particular fan of Hamilton, but he drove very well indeed in the early stages of the race and he did deserve better than he eventually got. I like Webber's banzai, all-or-nothing moves - when they work they're brilliant - but he didn't judge today's move on Hamilton very well. Although he did apologise afterwards.

I see the Oz politician responsible for road safety doesn't mince workds when it comes to his opinion of Hamilton's driving on public roads.

Vettel did well, shame about the exhaust problem. Vettel for champion
Button showed that last year's win was just a fluke and he is back to his rightful place mid-field.

Maybe you should be telling your little friend Vettel as well as Webber and for that matter Hamilton, they could learn athing or two watching button.
If you want to finnish first......First you ve got to finnish:biggrin::biggrin::biggrin:

Much better race than the desert-bore.
Shows that better tracks are needed... and rain. Rain turns the usual procession into a spectacle. Still, we get plenty of that in Europe and we have better tracks too.

The decision to bring Hamilton in for new tyres seemed stupid to me. OK he's stuck behind Kubica, but good points for him and the team even if he remains there. Did McLaren really thing he would pass the 2 Ferarris running side by side? They'd drive very tactically and never let him pass. Better he sat behind Kubica and saved his tyres IMO.

Here's hoping the FIA buy rain-makers...

+1 to that. Borehrain was dreadful. First time since the era of the Schumacher processionals that I've actually turned an F1 race off and gone off to do something less boring instead. If we get the usual at Spa that one should be exciting.

I don't really like Hamilton as I've always found him a little arrogant but recognise that he is a great driver. In contrast, I've never really rated Button as a world class driver. But after this race, Button has gone up a few notches in my opinion and Hamilton down a few notches. The post race interviews were very telling. Button was confident enough to tell the team what tyres he wanted and when, Hamilton blindly done what he was told and then moaned about it when it didn't work out. If he felt he was getting along fine on his old tyres, he should have said so, like Button did.

The extra speed of fresh tyres can work sometimes, and sometimes it doesn't. I don't see what he was complaining about. It didn't work for him this time, he should just forget about it and move on. IIRC, Hamilton through away a certain third place last year at Monza. I didn't hear McLaren criticise Lewis for his mistake then. F1 is really a team sport and he needs to realise that.
