I missed the second half of the race as I was recording it and didn't realise it was moving to BB2:angry:

I don't think it's fair to get too critical of Schumacher just yet. He's had three years off and much has changed. A few years ago, he could have had endless pre-season testing to get up to speed but he can't now. Give it time. He's not that far of Rosberg in the great scheme of things. Luca Badoer last season showed what a driver who is out of his depth looks like in a competitive car. Give him time to build the team around himself in the way that he did at Ferrari (when people were also saying he'd never win again).

Anyone see Buemi's car suspension disintegrate in practice today? Crazy. Aparently a fan went away with a wheel!

yeh was very impressive to watch... one of the right hand carbon suspension arms shattered which then shatterd all the others including the opposite side... good job it didn't happen sunday or several fans cud of been killed or injured with that stray wheel...

A microphone on the cameraman's position would have been good as he dived for cover when the wheel hit the tyre wall a few feet from his position!

Definitely fortunate it happened in practice though. Must be one the hardest top speed to braking zones on the entire calendar?

Hehe glad he's all right. One of these things that happens at exactly the wrong sort of place, we seem to get them every 3-4 years.

Vettel did well, shame about the exhaust problem. Vettel for champion
Button showed that last year's win was just a fluke and he is back to his rightful place mid-field.

Any more pearls of wisdom?

He only won because he made the correct choice not to change tyres and because he created all that confusion at the second restart. I am surprised there hasn't been any mention of that on the news.

True, Hamilton (and quite rightly) would have won by a fair distance if he did not have to pit four times compared to Buttons two.
Although probably not if he hadn't pushed Vettel off the track.

And Button would have one by a country mile if it hadn t been for the pace car...... and I would ve beaten them if we d all been on mountain bikes. We can all make excuses its the result the counts.

Correct tyre choice is part of the job and what he did at the restart was perfectly legit.

I did enjoy it too. I think bridgestone have done the right thing on the inters, they were becoming far too good. The tyres haven't been like this since Michelin had the iffy inters a few years back.

Anyway to get away from the McLaren rivalry I thought the jammy award went to Alonso really for that race .
