Indeed, Alonso really got out of jail with that jumped start. In a normal dry race and no safety car, he would probably finished out of the points.

A great race and I really enjoyed it. Excellent win by Button, he did everything he needed to and made the right call on tyres. I was expecting Hamilton to destroy him this season but it hasn't really happened (yet).

Great victory for Button, so glad he's kept his form and is showing all the doubters who claimed he wouldn't stand a chance against Hamilton!

But some of the drivers are also better than others. Last year in Belgium, Luca Badoer finished last by some margin while driving the same car that Kimi Raikkonen won the race with.

Oh well 1 second faster than the rest of the pack... pray for rain tomorrow or it's going to be a boring race.

Unless Hammy gets the drop on them to the first corner ;)

Well, there it was. Not a classic race, but it's nice to see Webber winning something. Even I felt sorry for Hamilton and about the only suspense in teh whole race was provided by the possibility of Vettel's brakes exploding in the last few laps. Oh, and Button seemed to be asleep when he was behind Schumacher ...

Good result for Webber. Hamilton and Button were both unfortunate, not the best of days for Mclaren but Buttons still in the lead. RT i think it's unfair claimin Button was half asleep, it's extremely hard to overtake on that circuit at the best of time, let alone one of the best strategic drivers of all time! On to Monaco next week, the standout event.
