Yes, interesting variation of the biathlon where you have to shoot your fellow skaters. One shot Mikey, one shot!

That wouldn't work though because if you gave the biathletes, say, a low powered air pistol which only stung to use against their competitors and somebody shot you in the bum it would only make you go faster and there's no way you'd shoot anybody coming up behind because you'd have to slow down to turn and shoot.

I have thought for a long time though that F1 drivers and possibly golfers should be given little pistols to liven things up a bit.

Some people are making a big thing about the Canadian womens' ice hockey team celebrating with cigars, beer and champagne on the ice afterwards. ffs. you're spent all those years training and sacrificing to win gold and you're not even allowed to let your hair down and celebrate. i say good on 'em!

Best event on Winner limpiks has to be the Ski cross!!!!! that was ab fab with all the crashes and excitement and wutangs thrown into boot. Brill.....

Tomorrow there's Petter Northug in the x country. Compelling viewing.

The niece of an ex girlfriend (from 1986/87) won a gold medal on Thursday with the Norwegian ladies 4x5 km cross country relay team! She's fit, too!

I was torn between wanting the Germans and the Norwegians to win. Then the second German bloke blew it so it became easy. I reckon this is the perfect sport for the telly as for once the telly viewer gets to see loads more of the drama than if you are actually there.
