The Old Ship Yard, Gainsborough - possible to cycle?

Does anybody know if you can ride through the old Shipyard as part of a route from Gainsbrough to Beckingham? There appears to be a paved cycle route alongside the river Trent but not clear if it is possible to get through old shipyard onto the Old Trent Road.

As far as I know the only way to cross the Trent at Gainsborough is over the road bridge

But immediately after the road bridge there is a paved track running north along the west side of the river. I wondered if you can get through the Old Ship Yard at the end of that onto the Old Trent Road which leads to Beckingham.

yes, you can. Turn left at the end of the cycle path, and ride through the factory yard, onto Old Trent Road.

Thanks very much it just looks like a better option then going along that main A road. Will now include in route I am planning now I know you can get through.
