The article was from GQ i think .....its just a bit of fun. I think its aimed squarely at the hedonistic side of man rather than the spiritual side.
Most of the things on the list are just run of the mill things blokes with a bit of folding cash and a wild streak would consider and may even be proud of doing as its a little risque and gives you bragging rights with your mates when you are on bevvy number 7 down the dog and duck.
I dont think its something to get wound up about....just enjoy it for what it is. Next week there will probably be a list like the one you mentioned .....thats the thing with mens mags they are fickle in the extreme and what might be considered 'cool' one week could be 'crass' the next.
Just enjoy the moment.
