Are they expensive? Leo needs one - he was practically mugging the other toddlers on the campsite back in August.

Islabikes are a bit yes, although they are utter quality. I got mine (well, Oli's) on Ebay, for £70. I think it's about £100 new, taking postage into account. Cheaper than a Likeabike.

There are cheaper options. Ridgeback do one for about £80 and there are Likeabike lookalikes for as little as £40-50ish. Aldi sometimes have one.

Islabikes apparently hold their value well for selling on, or of course they can pass to the next - Oli's future sibling already has their first bike sorted. I've promised to give it a complete service and make it good as new when the time comes to hand over. I don't save money of course, because then Oli will be ready for his first 'proper' bike....

The weather is looking quite good for the weekend in Brum (well no rain forcast yet anyways) so I could be out and about for a countryside cycle this weekend.

And... I'm going to see Green Day, Muse, and Eddie Izzard during the next 3-5 weeks yay!!! :bravo:

Well, the Fair went down really well with Ms. Admin - plenty of rides and staying up late on a school night!!!! :bravo:

Took her all of 5 seconds to fall asleep though when we got home ...

Cracking night - very happy ;)

Cheers,

Have just finished rebuilding my 22 year old British Eagle Touristique as mentioned elsewhere. Due to other commitments it has taken 18 months:ohmy:

I'm not actually going to ride it today as it's raining a bit but it's looking good for tomorrow:tongue:.
