I'm in a new old job, end of 2nd week and really enjoying being back. Better than that though is my mum's 70th on the 23rd and tomorrow evening all 5 of her kids are taking her out for a meal. First time we have all been together for ages! And then to top that over the weekend I'm going for a ride with my brother who is over from France..... it's all good.

My mum is coming over from Spain tomorrow and she's spending 5 days with us before going home. And my wife has taken Monday off as well. Yay!! for families!

I really enjoy my job, it's worthwhile, and the pay is ok as well.
I've been married for ooh, er, fifteen years around about now.
Uncertain as to the exact date because we had a formal Thai government approved marriage in a government office in Bangkok on x date and then had a Buddhist blessing in a Sala on the beach a week or so afterwards on 22nd October 1994. Neither of us can remember the x date. But we compensate by having two anniversaries, when we feel like it. If only we could read Thai we might be able to find out.

Nothing well-known outside my academic field, to be honest. But it sells quite well to those who work in that area, and I'd rather remain anonymous (outside those on the forum who I've met in person)
