Eff me, what you got - a mansion??? :tired::biggrin:
When I needed to get a mortgage quickly I went with the insurance offered without checking the meerkat first. Just got round to it and the agent was shocked at how much it was!

It is a bit of a mansion but not that much of one. Only 12 rooms plus a conservatory and basement rooms.

My little girl can now crawl!

Today I found out that my house insurance was costing near £90 a month so I soon put a stop to that. Got new quote for £30pm instead.

Tomorrow will be my birthday and I will be sorting out the technical reheasal on stage ready for first night next Monday.:tired:

My buildings and contents insurance was £285 last year and the renewal quote was £480 with Direct Line. I did a new customer online quote and got it for £240 from the same company. They really try to stitch up existing customers through inertia.

Yeah sure, I could do with the extra income. But you have to not mind the lack of ceilings and some doors in places though.

I was a new customer the first time.
The second quote is still high, £350pa with Allianz, to cover my workshop as well. I will also look at Direct Line before I commit.

I have now set up freeview on my DVD recorder.
