I've got two days off work ;)

... and I'm spending them at my office working on some stuff for CycleChat ...

Can we get an IRC channel to replace the chatbox? ;)

My wife had an operation yesterday on her 'lady bits' and everything went well.
Today is our 3rd wedding anniversary and we can now look forward to many, many more.

Just had a lovely morning & lunch with my friends who live in Germany and write travel books about Germany & Switzerland in English. We had a nice cycle around Risley Moss & my Anura trike was tested! There was a lot of non-stop chatting & eating going on. The house feels really quiet now.

Yesterday was gloomy, rainy and grim all day in York-ish. I wasn't really looking forward to cycling home from work.

And then, when I set off, the persistent drizzle stopped. There was a rainbow, very bright against the grey clouds. Then a double rainbow!

Then everything was suffused in a pinkish light, and emerging from the woodland, I could see the most fantastic sunset.

Ten minutes after I got home, it was raining again.

(This would have been better expressed in a Yehuda Moon-style cartoon, but I can't do them).
