HRH has excelled herself at the Trooping the Colour parade today with yet another eye searing colour choice for her outfit.

Is this a security thing ie spot her easily in a crowd or is it a genuine quiet revolt against the beige and grey uniform that we are supposed to wear in the Golden Years?

PS: whilst I'm no Royalist I do like people doing their own thing.

Just saw a formation of small jets fly over Sutton. Red arrows or some other planes? Presumably for the parade. Very cool and loud sight while cycling

As usual some of the planes came over the front of the house about five past one on their way home - we're in a direct line between Buck House and RAF Halton, where I suspect they break formation to head back to Brize.

They are based at Biggin Hill this weekend for the festival of flight
