I was lucky enough to catch a class 91 set from Doncaster on Wednesday. The Mk 4 coaches are just so much nicer than the Azumas, but I had forgotten that having the bike spaces all in the driving trailer at one end, and after the first class section at that, could mean a very long walk through the train to find a seat, or get back to retrieve your bike at the other end. Not counting the nail-biting hope that someone would actually turn up to open the door to let it out.

37 425 on a Colas train at Cambridge this Wednesday (25th Feb), and painted in retro Regional Railways livery. Must be 30 years since I last saw that!
