On a heritage train trip we were on recently. A facebook photo taken on the down. The A class was supposed to lead on the up but one of the drivers wanted to check out on the T class so the T led on the up long end first.

I've just started reading this book tonight, like many books written by railway fans it can be a bit dry but the detail (and pictures) are normally excellent.
