A good story about the ups and downs of a manufacturing legend.
I watched it on Monday and thoroughly enjoyed it (for the second time).
My very first bike was a Raleigh.
Such a shame that we let all that manufacturing expertise and infrastructure slip thru our fingers ....

Indeed. All that 'life continues' stuff at the end, and I'm thinking, ok, so we have a Dutch company that's using an old British name to sell Far Eastern bikes into the UK market - in what sense is that a continuation of Raleigh? Really enjoyed the stuff about the founding of the company tho' - given six months to live, saved by cycling!

When I bought a Dynatech in 1990 they included a photo of the person who built the bike in he paperwork. I am absolutely sure it was him.
