I have seen the London to Bristol trains hitting 130 according to the on board telly things a few times. Presumably the driver trying to make up lost time though I imagine they are not meant to.

There is a certain amount they can overspeed the limit by, I can't quite remember what it is, but something like 7mph seems to spring to mind (and would tie in with the Bendylino doing 132mph).

186mph, i.e. 300KPH in all 3 countries now with HS1. .
